Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) Tray
Clearly Clean’s recyclable Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) trays enable our clients to achieve longer shelf life (without the need for preservatives) by protecting food from its natural enemies: oxygen and water. The Clearly Clean MAP tray includes a proprietary film, which provides the appropriate bonding surface for the lidding material and the necessary barrier properties. Consumers merely need to peel away the protective liner to recycle the 100% recyclable base tray, which is marked with the #1 resin code (the most recyclable plastic). Our PET trays provide a superior barrier alternative to polypropylene and polystyrene trays.
Our MAP trays can be customized in terms of size, thickness, shape, and color. They are available with or without pads.
